Experience the game uniquely designed for blind and low vision players!

What is BLV SONIX Cricket all about?

Well, it’s been developed by Blind Cricket Tasmania an is set to revolutionise the BLV cricket space.

BLV SONIX Cricket is an exciting modified, innovative version of the game – a re-engineered, high-performance, highly competitive format designed for balanced participation, speed and spectacle.

The name SONIX (from sonics) represents the importance of listening, communication and audio aspects of adapting to play the game, not focusing on the blind disability context.

SONIX as a bold evolution of traditional blind and low vision cricket, offers greater accessibility for a diverse range of vision impaired players, blending the structure of indoor cricket with the excitement and tempo of T20 – and more!
