After years of development, Inclusive Innovations Tas is excited to share that in partnership with Blind Sports Australia (BSA) and Blind Cricket Australia (BCA), we’ve delivered the most extensive ‘Beginners Guide’ to Blind Cricket Coaching ever produced in the country.
BSA led the development team, including Blind Cricket Tas, in producing a detailed document that will help inform and educate anyone involved in the blind and low vision (BLV) cricket game. From social participation, through to state and national pathways and representation, there’s something for everyone 🙂
Ever wondered how sight classification is done, or what players actually experience when participating?
We encourage coaches, clubs, schools, community and sports organisations to take a look at BLV cricket and how it can play a role in your inclusion and diversity activities.
And we’d like to invite anyone with any level of vision impairment to enquire on how to get involved. All abilities sport is a great connector and offers physical, mental and social benefits, along with the fun of just having a go!

The manual is packed with visual and written detail, including male and female state and Australian representative players and teams wearing their green and gold uniforms and baggy green caps.]
