After some deliberation with the playing group, we can announce that the dual TAS/ACT NCIC blind and visually impaired cricket team now has a nickname – the ‘CATS!
Our players made many suggestions, but in the end, it was unanimous that the CATS was the most appropriate nickname on many levels.
It’s a balanced combination of the TAS and ACT letters and identifies with the team’s nature to be tenacious, cunning, and athletic, along with a fierce competitive streak respected by our competition.
